ive sold about 40 sets with no blown gaskets, what more do you want ?
Without O-ring heads? I'm sure they work great just wish I heard more success stories with them. Do you remember what the torque on h-11s was back in the day?

Jared, you rarely hear guys rave about a product that works as advertised, but you ALWAYS hear hell being raised when something doesn't work. How many guys have you heard pitching a b*tch about their Extreme studs not holding up?? I havn't heard any that were done properly.

Just sayin' homie.... I'll be putting a set in my truck when these gaskets go along with oringed heads. Probably use RCD gaskets from Jared too. Good solid combo IMHO.

Sent while driving, drinking coffee and threatening to kill people in traffic.

my extreme studs lasted one 1/4 mile pass.....puking coolant everywhere..... block and heads were machined also. switched to o ringed heads and 625s and makin 20+ psi more boost with new charger and they held fine till the trans exploded

I guess O-ringed heads have came a long way and people figured out how to install them correctly I guess. I remember about 4 years ago when people drove me away from o-ringed heads and how much of a B they were to install and let seat correctly.

That last part is key. I've heard of at least one set blown and another set where a stud was snapped during install, but I'd likely write those off to installer error.

However, the same could be said for ARP. There just haven't been many sets of extreme studs sold yet, so obviously we haven't heard of many being problematic. Not that I'd expect to hear that anyway.

It's not like a stud is some black magic piece... the tensile strength is higher than standard ARP's for only a little more money, to me they are the best bang for the buck for studs for the 6.0 right now. The ARP 625's are probably great, but a LOT more money.

the broken stud came from guy who over tourqed them again and again from what i understand.

625s and orings/OEM GASKETS are the best availble option for the 6L head gasket issues. IMO
