The bearing that came out of one of my auto luck hub assemblies is seized. I took it down to the local dealership and he told me they don't sell individual parts for it, just the whole assembly. Can I buy this bearing anywhere else? I don't know what it's called either so I'm having a hard time searching for it. The bearing I'm talking about is in the middle of the attached picture.

Yeah it does look like that one, I already replaced those though. The one I'm searching for is slightly larger than that. The one I need came out of the black autolock mechanism when I took it apart

The warn hubs dont work with the esof trucks though do they?
I wouldnt mind converting the front hubs to eliminate the factory sealed bearings either but thats some dough

Lets call them aftermarket since the OEM is made By warn

I know I would have swap out my unit bearing for traditional bearings and a spindle and spend over a grand to loose my auto hubs and ESOF

if I wanted aftermarket manual only hubs not sure about the earlier years but as far as ESOF the oem is the only option

I sourced that bearing out and rebuilt some auto hubs a few years back. It won't solve your problem.

Here's my personal suggestion. Get the factory lock/free hubs or get an aftermarket lockout hub.

I would like to know the hours I have spent trying to get the POS esof system to work and STAY working. Looks like your truck is setting on a beach. If those hubs see salt water or if you are in salt country in the winter. The chance of keeping the factory auto/lock hubs working long term is right there with winning the lottery.

Can you tell me where you got the bearing? If I can get the bearing in and get another year out of these hubs thats fine with me. Don't want to spend the $ for new ones now, have too much other stuff to pay for. But, if I have to get new ones, I guess it'll be the manual Warns.

I agree I just checked also
as far as regular hubs I did find this
Super Duty (F250/F350 & Excursion) '99-04 (Will Not Fit Dual Wheel Application)

Spline: 30

Part # 11690

Cautionary Footnotes:

When Replacing Automatic 3 Hole Cap Screw Hubs, You Must Purchase Corresponding Spindle Nut Conversion Kit # 32721 which is available in our other Ebay auction

***We do have service kits available in our other Ebay auctions. This hub kit uses service kit # 11714

I remember reading before that yours is easier to convert than mine when your ready

My 2002 was a piece of cake to convert over to the warns but I REALLY hate them now that my kids moved out..... Wasnt that bad before since I made them lock and unlock the hubs. Now I have to get out and do it. So I may put the auto lockers back in.. and yes, I am really that damn lazy :)

All the hubs from 99-04 f250/f350 and dually and EXs are the same hubs. I don't know if the aftermarket ones list a different # or not but they are not different.

I put a set of mile marker hubs from an 01 dually in a E99 F250 last week. And have switched the warns from truck to truck to truck many times.

Well I finally tracked down the bearing. A place in town called Miller bearings had them in stock, they have a website too so I'd imagine they would ship. Saved some short term coin and I'll just get Warns when the time comes. I hope this helps someone else.

The bearing I got was a Koyo B-248;L125

Can anyone here tell me with certainty that with Warn hubs the ESOF doesn't work? I put them on mine bc the hoses were rotted out BUT thought the Warn were just for locking? Doesn't the rear seals control the ESOF due to the vacuum on it?

The esof requires the factory hubs in order to work. The aftermarket warn hubs do not form an air tight seal so that alone would make them not work. They also don't have a rubber bladder in them like the factory ones do. Plus one of the steps in installing the aftermarket hubs is the disable the vacuum to the hubs anyway as it will suck up crap (water, mud, etc) into the hub area if you don't. All of this is strictly for the lock in/out of the hubs. The knob for you 4wd still works the transfer case either way so you can still go into and out of 4wd via that. Its just that the hubs have to be manually engaged after converting to the aftermarket hubs.
