The bellhousing adapter is on 5 speeds and autos, the only ones without it are the 6 speed trucks as the extra space is made onto the trans bellhousing.

There is a spacer on the crankshaft of the auto trucks that will need to come off before installing the manual trans flywheel.

What year are the IDI pedals from? You can only use a pedal box from a '92-'97 truck, anything earlier or later is different.

Swapping steering columns isn't needed, just pull it out, remove the auto shifter/associated parts and install the manual mechanism(for the ignition) if you want. May as well get the parts to convert it to tilt while your in there. Then you just need the upper cover for it

As for Difference in driveshaft lengths I'll have to get back to you in a couple weeks or so on that.

You just have to work it off with a small pry bar or big screwdriver

I wish, but I still haven't got the engine buttoned up to put back in, let alone the 5 speed and driveshafts. I was going to try and just find a good driveshaft from a truck that already had a 5 speed

Tap it with a hammer working your way around the edge, after a few taps it should come loose.

ZF-5 fluid=Redline MTL I filled with 4 quarts. Auto tranny spacer on end of crank is 2" thick, the bellhousing spacer to back of block is same for Zf-5 and E4OD. Not sure on d shaft as mine was 4x4 ccsb auto converted to zf and doner truck was 4 by cclb.

Good luck with the switch over...am very please with mine, although I do miss the wot pulls and not dropping boost. Still lookin to crunch mileage gains and I think it will be significant for my configuration.

What no way...Red Bull split 50/50 with water just to maintain focus so you don't fall asleep under there....heh heh.

For whatever reason double fisting Rockstars had me all kinds of messed up at Fass this weekend. I didnt have a sip of alcohol and people thought i was drunk as a skunk  LOL

BTW: Truck is in the shop ready for tomorrow! Gonna start after work and hopefully have the auto stuff out. Well see.

Big question though. I need to know where all my connectors will plug in. Anyone have detailed pics? And do i need to do anything with my tuning since i will still have my auto PCM?
