The bellhousing adapter is on 5 speeds and autos, the only ones without it are the 6 speed trucks as the extra space is made onto the trans bellhousing.
There is a spacer on the crankshaft of the auto trucks that will need to come off before installing the manual trans flywheel.
What year are the IDI pedals from? You can only use a pedal box from a '92-'97 truck, anything earlier or later is different.
Swapping steering columns isn't needed, just pull it out, remove the auto shifter/associated parts and install the manual mechanism(for the ignition) if you want. May as well get the parts to convert it to tilt while your in there. Then you just need the upper cover for it
As for Difference in driveshaft lengths I'll have to get back to you in a couple weeks or so on that.
