Absolute is the reading you will want to watch. Desired is what the computer wants to see. The important one is absolute tho.

okay thanks! so the absoute reading ive hit 70psi alot but never more and 70 is ussualy pulling up a hill with a load on or wide open and a bit less. is this ok?

Yeah that's pretty normal. How much boost is that at?

Under part throttle your boost and.back.pressure will.never be even close to 1:1 the vgt is constantly trying to make things spin faster so.smoke is down and spool up is fast.

its at 16psi at idle. at 45psi its at 70psi give or take some on the boost and back pressure.

Ok, that means that atmospheric pressure is included. Subtract ~14.7 psi from your number and that will give you actual back pressure.
