No, they look good on his truck - but I would worry about destroying a wheel after hitting that unexpected/ unavoidable pothole.....Alaska's full of those!

I do really like that type of wheel because its not too flashy.

Ahh....not sure if that look is right for me.

Dave, it's just my opinion but I'd rock this in an 18. That'd give more sidewall to protect the wheel, weigh less, and I think it'd look killer.

I've never been a fan of the 20+ inch wheels. If somebody else likes them and runs them, more power to them - but I'm sticking to my 18's.

Agreed!

I think I just need to decide on a wheel now. Once I get the paint finished I will try to make a decision....but I think it needs to be a black wheel.

I'v never had a problem with messing a wheel up with pot holes or anything. My best friends girlfriend has 24's on 33's and I think she swerves to hit them..... And she hasnt messed on up on a pot hole. Shes curbed it a couple times though. You'd be fine with 20's on 33's but 18's would look good too

Your probably right.

Could you keep your eye out for SD wheels down there for me, there isn't much up here.

Bringing this thread back. Seems to be a lot of good knowledge for my question. I want my tires hanging out big time. Found some Moto Metals that are 20X12 with a -44 offset. What are the pros and cons of running a 12" wide wheel with 12.50s? I really like the -44 off set, love the wheels, but I dont want to drop 2500 on tires. Any opinions guys? Any one else running a 12" wide wheel with 12.50s?

I've run them on several setups and have towed more weight than most with this combo and have been fine. They look just fine streched out a little.
