So moving in a strait line, starting at one size and ending at another size and leaving a crater is ok with you? That's a good weld?

WTF is that glob at the top?? Is this a TIG welded part? Because the abomination of a weld around the tube is well, CRAP. Will it hold? Maybe, does it look like a bird crapped on it? Yes. Somebody needs to go back to welding school if they are going to put their name on it.

While most of this one isn't horrible, the complete lack of fusion at the toes at the end of the weld is not good.

You all can keep asking me about my experience with the kit all you want, I would NEVER pay money for a kit with pictures like this floating around the net. Do i deny Jake's CS? No. That's not whats being discussed here.

Holy bs thread!!!

Jakes welds are fine I have been to his shop and looked at several mounts and up pipes, every one I saw looked perfect! He built ic tubes for my obs, the welds looked amazing! Don't believe me ask Curtis he saw them in person!

Now to the op! You have a couple options there is the famous d66 great turbo but you can have a back pressure problem, which can lead to bearing failure!

H2e is a great choice but you don't have alot of room to grow!

I choose the t4 mount due to the ability to grow and have tons of options, s366 will out flow the h2e and the d66 along with low back pressure!

As for the ppl who build the t4 kits I chose irate he was close and had great cs, tn makes good stuff but they aren't cheap!

As for the 38r you can swap Sd parts and run one but you don't get bellowed up pipes as you do with the t4, I would add that to the cost of everything and weigh your options! Good luck

the TN mount kit is no more expensive than jakes kit.

You do realize that you have to pass certification to pass your welding class right? Oh and you have to take a welding class to be a mechanic… I'm just stating that out of all the mounts I saw at irates shop were perfect that is all nothing between you or me... So please let the op get back to his original questions. I put in my advice that is all
