99-01s all D50s except duallys. All 02 up trucks d60s. All EXs d50s.

At least this has been my experience in checking this on many, many, many, trucks.

All SD axles 99-04 use the same balljoints.

:stupid:
This..........

You tree'd me in this thread.

I use MotorCraft ball joints. I've used MOOG's in the past but with my account at Ford and how well they treat me it just doesn't make sense to use something aftermarket.

Besides the answer to your question Joe is yes, they will work.

Moog has different levels of products just as everyone else does. Also almost everyone doesnt make parts like they used too.
Ive also heard the higher end napa line are moog at least with ball joints. Either way, you will want the higher end parts.

As far as dana 50 vs 60 goes, im pretty sure they are identical from the knuckle out. I used to know but I do not recall exactly what the differences are.

I try to stick with oem whenever I can, parts seem to last longer from my experiences

I have installed a few sets of the XRF ball joints. They are quality parts for sure and a million mile warranty is nice. $150 for a whole set cant beat that.

So it sounds like xrf or oem would be the routes to go.
Im thinking about doing some early preventive maintenance on my front end and doing ball joints while I'm in there.

A little off topic but I imagine xrf or oem on tie rod ends too?
