hahahaha This bow aint that slow! Have a pic of your bow?
those old wheel bows dont hold speed or are very speedy at all compared to today's standards... with proper aluminum arrows your prolly only 250fps and with proper carbon arrows prolly only 270fps and im guessing high...

i shoot a 550 grain carbon at 325fps and at 20yds, it still shoots 320fps.... thats right around 120lbft of kinetic energy.. all the new bows shoot way faster and have about the same kinetic energy but its with a 400gr or less arrow so it doesnt hold the energy as well as mine... id love to have a new one just because they are so fuggin smooth..

cuz i like watching deer fold in half when i shoot through both front shoulder bones..... hell i had the 100lb limbs switched out to the 90lb limbs so i could shoot some 3d with it...

Interesting... I don't hunt deer anymore but when I did, I used 62lb's in the lung area, they didn't last very long but the amount of time they did, was not comforting to me so I perfer a high powered rifle instead..

If I'm going to kill something, I don't want it to feel a thing.. That running through the woods bleeding out isn't for me...
