I just bought my self some 200/30 swamps injectors so I'm going to have my valve covers off, I hear if you bed line them your in cab noise will go down a good bit. My question is will the extra heat held in by the bed liner hurt my engine?

I was hoping this would get more attention than a few casual reads..
I think Pocket did this, but I can't remember the results.. and now of course I can't find the thread..

Just powder coat or paint em. It really doesn't make that much of a difference. Not worth it IMO.

Ok... Between this coming back up again, and having a few sets of valve covers laying around, I think its time for me to do this.

Going to remove the dog house, weld up one of the holes, and then install a threaded bung on the other. Then remove the bolt part on the inside. I'll build a can underneath or just route it into the exhaust.

Not at all. If 1/2-3/4 filling the block does not cause overheating issues.......

I really wanted to do this when i had my engine out and apart. Still thinking about yanking the set off my old engine and having them bedlined. Although i want red and i'm sure it'd cost a pretty penny to have it done
