I have an in bed transfer tank and have filled it before a run with no luck, but its also at the front of the bed and so thats not really where the weight needs to be. Ill try it out. i know with a trailer (which is about 90% of my highway driving) i dont have issues

same issue with my 08 (my 05,07, and 99 didn't do it) i have 250 in the bed all the way at the rear of mine right now and it has smoothed out.

Dzchey, my 11 long bed Dually did the same thing , as well as my 14 ccsb that only has 10k miles on it. It's got a light bounce on some roads that only happens like from 55-65. Drives me crazy! I also am planning on the fox 2.0s as soon as I have extra cash to spend on it.

we have three trucks with that stupid vibration. a little weight in the bed does clear it up.

i have changed pinion angle, carrier bearings, u joints, tires and rims etc to get rid of it with no avail.

what i have noticed is that with traction bars of any sort, it is much more pronounced. if you look in your side mirror and watch the box, you can see it moving independently to the rest of the body. almost like it pivots at the front trac bar mount.

so whats everyones experience with saw cut interstate? The issue i have is the truck litterally bounces the entire time. Its not just this truck is everyone i have ever had. My dads truck doesnt seam to do it but its got 35s and 18s so much more sidewall to soak that up.

Anyone have the same problem and switch to 2.0s and have it fix that?

Sorry to derail

Mine still does this. It didn't do it at stock height that I noticed. It didn't do it at first when I lifted it and put on the 5160s but it progressively started happening and getting worse. The Fox shocks made it better, but its still there. It also seems like it does it less when it gets colder for some reason.

Bang for the buck, I would do a Fox 2.0 IFP. We have them in stock and also have a dual stabilizer that runs matching shocks. I have both in stock and ready to ship!

There ya go, Richard.

Many trucks get the shake that your describing with the bed. If its subtle, you usually cant feel it. Its the frame flexing which Fords are known for. A slight vibration, hop, something out of balance, etc starts it and it kind of reverberates from there.

Top mounted overloads will pronounce expansion joints in addition to any other large bump as they slap the tabs and spring the suspension back down. Eliminating them will help but not eliminate. The single largest improvement you can make aside from shock/valving change is taking the bottom flat overload out of your leaf pack. This does however lower your payload capacity.

Thanks for the info Trevor. not to derail but my truck is a 2010 F350 CCSB with your traction bars and a 5" flat block. What do you suggest for rear shocks?

For the money the 2.0 IFP's. If you really want to get huge improvements and are willing to spend the money there are much better options but your talking 2-3x the money almost. We try to keep the entire SD line of 2.0 IFP's instock.

Trevor - Can you get the 2.5 in a 0-1.5" for the front like what's offered with the 2.0 IFP?

They do not offer the IFP which is the "base" offering of their options in a 2.5. You would have to do the Factory series which runs about $899 for the pair. IMO, at that price point, you would be better off with our custom built Kings for the same cost. I can get either though, both would be built to order. The Fox's are their pre-engineered valving. The Kings are setup to our specs with what we provide depending on how your going to use the truck.

i have a hell of a time with saw cut concrete from here to denver, and i have yet to really be impressed with a shock that fixes that. I think alot of it is in the rear but like i said nothing has fixed it for sure.

have you tried full carli leaf pack? from what they are saying that is the answer to soften up the rear...
