I vote toyo AT2 in 305/55. This is what I am planning to run. Don't know how they hook at the track but I'm over worrying about that. Few buddies have them and LOVE them plus they look great...

I'm hearing a lot about these at2s and the more I hear the more I want them!!! As for power the 35 only soaks up the hp in 5th other wise you can't tell... I'm running high 500s... So power isn't and issue it's just running a clean truck with non Vgt

What do you consider a lot of power

Nothing compared to some guys,
Well my truck was around 400-450/750ish TQ ( studded, deletes, intake, innovative tunes, Suncoast billet race trans and convertor) . Felt great with the trans and convertor. Plenty for my daily work truck, my cars have always been way faster than my daily truck. If I wanna go fast it won't be in a 9k lb truck :)
As long as it can pull anything behind it and look good doing so I'm happy.

Lol 35s where fine in that power range... But the non Vgt prefers rpms other wise I'm under the turbo and it just bellows smoke and takes forever to light while blacking out the road...

33's will help a bit, im somewhere in the 500's and still on 285/16's. Pretty rough on the tires but there is very little lag. i put 10 ply AT2's on my wife truck i like the new look

I went from 530hp with 175s and a pmax to... To the 205 and s366 the bigger non Vgt world is way different on tuning and rpms.... Just crazy how bad I fall under my turbo

Yup, RPM is everything when the turbos get larger.. Im guaranteed to send egts soaring (and smoke) if Ive got 8K+ in tow and looking for throttle at 1600rpm in 4th. A set of 35s would make it worse, unless Im in 3rd. But 3rd would be easier to drive with on a taller tire... decisions, decisions.

That's why I'm dropping rpms are better for me... And less rotating mass is better less torque to turn all in all I think the 33s will be better

Are you guys looking at weight ratings on these tires also?
What is the minimum weight rating for towing you are considering?
The Toyo MT 33x12.5 only had a 2800 lb rating I believe and I was thinking
3k per tire was minimum.

Gordon, is the speedo still set up for the 35's? Remember I adjusted that years ago in the parking lot...
