Most leveling kits say "if your vehicle is.equipped with an f350 rear block your vehicle will be 1" higher in the rear." If you need only an inch, you'll have to run an add a leaf in the front.

@ToMango-You realize that most 4" kits barely lift the rear? Ford's are 3" rake most of.the time. Well, they used to.be.The 1st gen Superduties were. I'm not sure anymore. My last 4" kit only contained add a leafs for the rear and new ubolts. Gay...

My opinion of lifting is very cut and dry. 6" or leveling kit. 4" is a waste. 8" can be.cool if the tires are smaller than the max size. For.example, an 8" lift and 37s on 22s is.nice.

I do......which is why I pointed it out.

Well I feel better after checking out my spring codes. I have a U-code in the front (softest), and the front is about 3-4" lower (depending on side of course, stupid trucks). So if the BDS leafs take it to X-code or a little more, I should be pretty good. A small amount of rake >1" won't bother me too bad, on the chance the front picks up higher than the rear can be aided when I get a helper air bag system in the back.

So then why are you in need of.stating that a 4" lift is only an inch higher? Well yea because it's an inch more than a leveling kit! Just bust in balls.

You could have a block machined that would be exactly what you needed. I've done that before for 50bucks.

One last question Dom, does it.sag like a bitsh with a trailer hooked to it?

Normally I'm running a 20' 10,000 lb v nose trailer. With it packed, the rear of the truck is 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch lower than the front measuring at the wheel wells. It is not on the overloads. I keep meaning to snap a pic.

I know somebody w/ a 250 what has a 4" lift....his truck only sits 1" higher than mine, lol

Yeah, Caladash has a 250 with a 4" lift and other than the rake mine has, they sit almost identical.

Did you have to have a drop pitman and an adj. trac bar for that?

um, definitely. Looks real nice. How are duratracs?

Best. Tire. Ever.

I'm biased tho. I can't speak for how long they will last....and being a M+S tire I don't expect more than 30k. Love them tho, all around great tire.
