May not be a big deal, but where do the corner of the fins end up after they break off the wheel?

In the IC, or in the motor and out the exhaust... not worth worrying about, there Aluminum, small, thin and would pass without harm.

Three pages worrying about something you can not change... LOL

It won't gain you 50 horsepower on stock injectors.

You were told wrong. You can do about the best of around 340 hp on stock injectors and stock turbo. The same will go for stock injectors and a 38r. You run out of fuel way before you need more air with stock injectors. Sure a 38r will have cooler egts and all around run better, but it will not gain you 60-90 hp on stock sticks.

ok....

ok what?

Take a stock truck with a stock turbo and dyno it... You will get about 220-230 hp...

Now chip it, intake and exhaust and you might get 310-320...

Now throw a 38R on it and you MIGHT get 330-340...

FYI I dynoed 350hp with a 38R, stock injectors and 30% water/meth injection years ago...

For the record, I wasn't trying to be an ass. I was just stating what I have found to be the absolute truth. Yes, your truck will run a little better with a 38r and stock injectors, than it would with a stock turbo and stock injectors. It won't gain you 60-90 more horsepower though, it just won't unless you had poor tuning with the stock turbo, and change to decent tuning with the 38r. The magazine you read has misinformed you.

Oh I'll be the ass for you...

I hate when people quote things as the truth because they read it somewhere...

I've dynoed that turbo, stock turbo, and TN drop in's with about every combo of housings you could imagine...

But our boy up there probably thinks he has a 450hp truck because he adds up all his HP claims.:pointlaugh:

No I dont think I have a 450hp truck Joe, you dichwadd, I figured it'd be around 340-350.

Oh and Joe, just because you did something and got a certain result doesnt mean somebody else cant get a different result. Two trucks built the same from start to finish wont dyno the same. I like how you become arrogant whenever somebody says something they did that you werent able to do yourself and throw around how you've done it all. A bunch of people told me you were a jagoff on the other site, I just wish I would have heeded their warnings. Im glad you think Im a moron since I dont want my intelligence measured by a pounder like yourself. Seriously, you got any friends beau?

Jngreen, I didnt take offense to anything you said. I know you were stating your version of it.

You're right! You're a moron! Sorry, if I think I know everything.

Rather than read what you think(I'm still unclear as to what "rather than read what you think" means?) or talk to a brothers sisters mothers boyfriends aunt, try doing...

You figure??? LOL... Love a guy that quotes HP numbers that has never even run on one.

Your HP, on 37's with your mods... 325-330...

You should go back to that site... and ask about there special hidden forum that you can bash people all behind the scenes

So what your saying is any truck that installs a 38R will pick up 50-80 hp... and every truck will dyno 60-80hp differant with like mods...

Yup, you'll fit right in over there...:pointlaugh:

See I don't get that, I have less than 20 friends on FB, and most are family. I used to get requests all the time from people I don't know and I never accepted them. My daughter has hundreds and I told here there is no way you know that many people. I can't imagine getting all the damn farmville and vampire mafia whatever stoopid game is popular now alerts.

Speaking of gauges, I have the steering column gauge and hate the way it blocks the speedo. I know you have the gauges in the corners of your gauge cluster, do those obscure anything?

And BTW, I'm with everyone else on this one, you simply cannot gain 90HP (I think thats what I read) on stock sticks by switching from stock SD turbo to a 38r, without doing anything else, unless your stock turbo was totally trashed.
