best towing bang for my buck?

looking at spending a little coin before towing season. what would benefit my rig more trac bars or sway bar? my 5er weighs about 17k and i tow on ****ty midwest roads.

You should probably just buy my PMF Floating traction bars.

Depends what you are trying to accomplish. A beefy rear sway bar will help it feel tighter in corners and reduce body roll.

Track bars will make it feel like it is shifting smoother, as well as eliminate wheel hop if you get into loose ground or sand. They will also help your u joints survive hard towing because it eliminates axle wrap. OUO is the best setup out there...

I guess I would skip the sway bar and do air bags. Firms everything up, gets rid of body roll as well. Great bang for your buck.

i have airbags now. i can’t believe there isn’t already a sway bar on there. brackets are there. would airbags hurt a sway bar? seems if i set the tension at a certain height when i inflated or deflated bags it would change that.

Airbags and a sway bar will work well together without causing tension. The travel difference from deflated to inflated won’t make a difference. I would do traction bars and get rid of the shudder when accelerating though.

I second this!! I also think traction bars tightens up braking. Prevents backward axle wrap

Id change it to fill individually. It will change the truck a lot. When you turn or go around curves especially!

Why over complicate a simple system? Install a valve and it eliminates the need for independent fill...while keeping each bag isolated
