Anybody have these on our heavy trucks. I know on lighter trucks and suvs they are great. But my grapevine reports say that they wear funny and don't last. Just trying to hear it from the horses mouth how they are. I know not tire section but will get alot more views here I believe.

My friend had some on his 07 and they did not last very long. 26K I think is what he got out of them but I don't know if he ever rotated them or any of that good stuff. He had a stock 6.0 so he never put any serious burn out abuse on them.

I have some on my 6.4. I think they are wearing ok. Probably only 5,000 miles or so on them.

Is 25k about average on these 8k lbs hog on tires? I'm running terra grapplers now and with about 14k on them they are a tad choppy so I bet I could get 25k outta them

I know its not a 8K truck but my wifes FJ cruiser came with BFG all terrains stock. We have seriously 130K miles on them. They are in need of replacement now. I have never seen a tire last that long. We will be putting a new set on shortly and they will be BFG.

Must be an FJ thing lol. My mother has had KM2's on her FJ cruiser for nearly 40k miles, and they look absolutely brand new still. Never had BFG's on my truck though, but my last Toyo mt's were good for about 40k, maybe slightly more

BFG ATs are soft tires. I averaged just over 30K on them. I changed to Pro Comp XATs and I'm averaging 55k-70K a set. This is with a Detroit Locker in the rear diff. FWIW, my driving style does not include burn outs, racing at every light, etc. Just a little street racing, off-roading (while hunting), carrying slide-in camper, and towing. Be sure to run the appropriate air pressure and rotate them often.

I'm looking for a good tire for dirt drags, which BFG is the best. So that's what I need. I never do burn outs. What pressure should I run on 305 55 20s? I ran like 55 all the way around with terra grapplers and the rears started to wear a tad on the center so now I run 55 up front, 45 in rear. Also I never tow.

I had them on my 00 cc 35-12.50x16.5 best I remember got close to 40k on them but that was a stock 7.3. Best tires I ever had on that truck, just not the best looking.
