I don't mind dual tanks. I like the idea of being able to longer distances without having to stop. But I just wish the obs tanks were bigger. I would get a tank to put in the bed but I can't afford to lose anymore bed space. Unless I got a smaller tool Box then I would.

I know you want a mid-ship tank, but just sayin I put in the F26D and it's only 7" deeper than the stocker. I hung my spare under it and it's been fine on the sig truck, like the idea of a larger mid-ship but not sure a SD would fit with my CCSB?

I also have a custom 25" high by 60" wide by 24" deep combo fuel cell and tool box. The bottom 10" is a fuel cell with baffles and drains gravity into the front tank. Works awesome and holds 200 litres (52 US gallons). So total I can pack 105 US gallons...

Have some pix on in sig below in red truck folder.

I know you guys want a bigger front tank but I do know that there is a place that makes a 40 or 45 gal rear tank for broncos that would bolt right in. Can't remember where at right now

I will have to say, excuse my ignorance, I didnt take into account that some of you boys might NEED 100+ gallons of fuel. For survival no less!

Did any of us ask for a 100 gallon tank anywhere in this thread? We simply want a decent 30-40 gal single tank so our trucks will be more like a Superduty.

I'm just looking to run a simpler fuel system. Now the question is what to do with the rear filler door. I guess I could weld it up while I'm doing the bodywork.

I WANT capacity. And I already explained my reasons why. If someone doesn't like that, then do it your own way.

A SD tank works for guys that like simplicty like the SD has and don't want to run a rear tank. If they want to run the rear only, then get the OBS rear 38 gal tank. If guys are like me, then get both the SD front, the big OBS rear, and have an in-bed tank.

Ryan, you know that DOT won't like you if you get pulled over with a 38g front, 38g rear & a 110g in bed tank. :lookaround: Not to mention that would be like 1300lbs in fuel alone.

That's true. However the in bed tank is only a 50 gal and its completely hidden unless they crawl under the truck and start tracing lines. As for a factory tank in the front and back, how are they to know the difference between the factory small tanks and the factory bigger tanks and what they came "factory" on?!?

Is there concern, yes however I'd be no different than running a sump.

Your talking to a guy running a hoodstack & a sump on my front tank. :lookaround:
I could care less if you want to run a bed full of fuel, I'm just the disclaimer nazi. :lookaround:

That being said I'm going to get a 50gal aux tank of some kind & sump it into my stock front so I might be able to run 500miles without stopping for fuel.
