I've had my new injectors (238/100's) in since April 2013 and when we pulled the motor we did injectors, HPOP, studs, push rods, new tunes and a few other things I'm probably forgetting.
Even since then I've noticed that the truck is absolutely miserable when it's cold. And by cold I mean air temp below 50 degrees (which is not cold)
It shakes, sluggish and just grumpy. If I plug it in its absolutely fine, not a problem at all.
It has sat in the driveway not plugged in for 10 days. I went out to start it, let the glow plugs run for two cycles and it just cranked tried to start smoked like a freight train but wouldn't stay running. (Batteries are three weeks old)
Glow plugs were all replaced when the motor came out, GPR is working.
Is this common for larger than stock injectors? Does anything thing sound wrong. I've searched high and low but can't find any info on this. Looking for some advice or answers.
Currently 29 degrees outside now. The reason for all this is my concern of starting issues if I go somewhere where I can't plug it in...
