My buddies trailer I pull a lot has a GVWR of 25,900, then my pickup is 11,200. I don't tow commercialy but I still need CDL to pull that combo. I have never stopped at a weigh station but I guess I should check into that and see if I really need to.

Non commercial, then no cdl. But a class A to be licensed for the weight.

Im starting to see more and more laws popping up about weight and what not that require class A's and it seems like we are all better off getting our class A's to stay within the law and not get in trouble.
