here is the real deal they go from trashing the door and handle to popping a window with a center punch
and behind the door handle you can access the interior pop up door lock anyway

basically your out your deductible and truck for a while
It's a pain in the ass

Jimmi Jammers does have a door lock delete now so you see a plug in place of the cylinder

I have no key holes and the handles don't flex now so it will hopefully be too much work for them and they will move to a easier truck...like my neighbors bright red f250 gasser Who has a key hole on both front doors :D

Exactly what I'm going for, deterrent. I agree they are rock solid in the door. And having no cylinders or rods in the doors and no prying them up or punching out tumblers. If they want in, it will have to be the old fashion way.

May get some of those some day, they look nice! Only way now to get into mine now is with key fob. Batteries were completely dead once, crawled under the pickup, hooked jumper cables to the starter from another pickup an pressed the unlock button an got right in, very quick n easy.

You can do that, but we get a solid 7 months of winter most years. Had first snow stick mid October, and the river broke ice just last week. Crawling under the truck in -30 wind and snow isn't my first choice. I got easy access to dozer parts. Boost receptacle was a no brainer.

Just get one of these. Way easier and cleaner. And that's exactly it, put enough juice to it from a charger to open the door locks. I've got the female end in a jumper to put on any charger.

I don't necessarily have to charge it to capacity. I just need to put voltage to it enough to fire the lock solenoids. Then once the door is open you can do as you please. I haven't had failed batteries since I deleted the tumblers. But I wanted a fail safe. I can jump it from another truck too not just a charger. The jumper I made is cat booster to welding quick connect. I can clip booster cables to them or run the charger to it.

I meant in general can you charge the vehicle via starter and that'll unlock the doors?

I finally got my handles back from paint and got them installed this last weekend. Way more solid feeling and if someone wants to break in they are going to have to break a window.

Awesome idea.

Wish I had these installed before my truck was stolen. I got my truck back, but with these, the crooks would have just moved on to the next Ford...

Post a link for them, as I went to Summit Racing, and they look like crap plastic...(All Sales Manufacturing???)

You posted some pics of a clever device for charging the battery to get in truck with billet door handles. What are those?

It's a boost receptacle off a D8T Cat.
