Black textured grill question

Does anyone know if the black textured plastic grills on the lower trim models are compatible with the chrome versions. My specific question is; can the horizontal bars and "c's" be swapped from the black grill to a chrome one? Hopefully that makes sense.

No they can't. On the base XL trucks, the entire grill is one molded piece. On the XLT and up trucks the bars and trim pieces are able to be removed. I'd suggest just taking them off and having them painted black.
