Blew up turbo. How bad is my motor now?

Vgt shaft was bent at the tip. Wheel spun true but obviously she wasn't gonna cut it. We just hoped for the best. Gonna tear it down again tues and throw a new stocker in there I guess

Bought a pair of stockers from a kid in here cheap. I think I'm gonna leave the truck alone for a while until I see what's what. How many guys on here have blown the turbos and saw no issues with the motor? All I'm worried about at this point

read what has been posted. most often, the pieces get stuck in the intercooler. if would take a pretty amazing effort to get pieces all the way thru into the intake manifold

what cores-your exploded ones? they are worth nothing to a re builder, maybe something to Ford or someone that is a direct borg dealer.

Guess I was lied to. A tech and I went for a drive afterthey did some work on the the truck and an oil line on the filter was not tightened up and ended up dropping about 1.5gal on the road. I was worried and he told me the truck would shut down if oil pressure dropped. Live and learn.

Probably told you that so you wouldn't try and come after them for anything...
