block fill on DD

I was wondering if anybody is running a filled block on their DD and tows with it? I was going to fill everything up to 2" below deck height. I threw a rod and dont want to have to pull my motor again because of a cracked block. Is it worth doing while its out or am I going to have to worry about it overheating? I already bought a girdle to help a little and im pushing close to 600 hp. And also if I do it should I just use hard-blok and how much of it do I need to buy? Any info will help. Thanks

You can do it no problem. Most of the combustion is in the top 2" of the chamber anyways. There are a few on here that DD with a partially filled block.
