I had boots that slipped out from under the clamps. Two different boots had slipped in one spot each. Max boost was about 10PSI. It was a little sluggish off the line, but not so you would notice until it was fixed.
Each unclamped area of the boot was over an inch long. They both happened on the bottom side of the pipe where you couldn't see it unless you took the pipe off. They were such big leaks that my little 12V air compressor couldn't put enough air in there to get the soapy water to bubble so I could find them.
EGTs were about 100 degrees high once speed was above about 40-50MPH. At 70mph, I was running 800 deg, it's usually 700 deg.
Slid clamps back in place and tightened, boost is back up, nice & responsive down low, and EGTs are back down.
