A customer of mine brought a truck in and after diagnosing a bad egr and injector he decided he wanted to sell and get out of the 6.0. I made an offer and he took it. It's an 05 f350 cclb dually with 150k miles. I'm into it cheap so I am gonna throw a few bucks at it. I'm planning on replacing the injectors with new ones from Full Force along with an egr delete, studs, sct dash daq thingy, intake and possibly a ficm. Anything else I should look in to?

I don't see any need to change the intake, the stock unit works well in the 6.0.. Dump all the fluids and filters and the rest of what you posted sounds about right and I would replace the FICM with a HD 48V or a 58V, if it's not causeing any issues right now it probably will sooner or later..

How much if you don't mind me asking? I need to find me one of these deals. I like the Camaro I got for a back-up vehicle but it's just not "me". LOL

I paid 7500 for it and it booked for 15-17k depending on condition. It needs a good vacuuming since the guy had a dog in it, but that's nothing major since it will be my German shepards new ride too. I didn't think about the oil cooler, anything else? It will be getting new fluids for sure, schaeffers front to back!

Throw the "Blue Spring" kit in it from ford, worth it while you are there.

Replace the stand pipes and STC fitting as well, just some little things that don't cost much that will save you headache later on.

Ive never paid quite that much, but if there is a free way to go about it then that is even better! Just a tip, a lot of higher mileage trucks through our shop gain something from doing it, no matter what way you go about it.

stc fitting on hpop for sure while its apart. Get rid of the plastic cold side pipe while you're getting stuff. We have stock trucks split them a lot at work.

Where's the best place to get hpop fitting, ic pipe, oil cooler and o-rings/ gaskets that I will need, ford? I'm getting everything else trough full force. What is everyone's thoughts on the ficm, was looking at getting one with the tow/ econo flash but wasn't sure about the higher voltage ones.

Ford or Bulletproof Diesel. Not sure if you have a connection at Ford or not, but Sunrise Ford is a vendor here and offers a 25% discount and free shipping.

Check out the Bulletproof Diesel FICM's. I think you'll like what you find.....
