Just received my BDP water pump yesterday and thought i'd share some pics of it. Gonna be busy these next few days so hopefully i can get it on this next week. I know extendedpower(Ivan) has one for his twin build he's doing now. Anyone else got one on their truck?

Yeah they are a beautiful piece of work for sure.

The only thing I don't like about them is that you can't see the inside from the outside...

Not sure if anyone has used one of these pumps (to verify if it is any good or not) but this is what I bought before I found out about the BPD pump. It is an Alliant OEM replacement pump that I bought off Ebay for $120. I still have the original on there right now and seems to be doing just fine. I'll probably change it out when I get around to doing the Electric Fans.

My first motor that was completely built had the fins from the factory water pump break on a road trip and that in turn caused a whole bunch of damage to other parts of the motor. So now that I'm building this one it's a no brainer to go with this one.

I installed a brand new waterpump when I changed the front cover of my engine. (I went with the bigger 4" pump instead of the 3.5" pump on the 03's)

A year and a half later...I found 4 broken plastic impeller blades when I tore my engine down again.

And that was with a brand new front cover as well. (Nothing used)

So, I am now running the Bullet Proof water pump, and should never have to worry about cracked or broken blades ever again.

So do they not make one for the later trucks? I checked there web site and looks like I've got a 04.25 and later motor judging by there vin numbers. So it won't work

I'm going to be putting one in mine, after dealing with poor coolant circulation issues all winter, which in turn causes my vegistroke to kick off all the time, which ends up costing me more money in fuel. Also adding an inline coolant pump as well to make sure it's flowing.

So why would I go with the BPD water pump over the Alliant one that I have posted pics of?? The BPD is like $170 more. The Alliant pump has a metal impeller and not plastic so it wont break like the stock one can. I guess I dont see what I am missing.

The BPD is $220? $220-$120 = $170??? The BPD appears to be a better unit, but I guess we wont know. Are the fins on the Alliant unit flexible?

The bulletproof unit is a quality piece. I know 5-6 guys with em and no complaints.

It eliminates cracked fins and cavitation
