Brake Question on swap project

This maybe get odd results since I'm not starting with a power stroke, but bear with me.

I'm pulling the 5.4 from my 2010 and swapping a destroked 6.7 cummins (short rod 6.4).
What I need it info on converting the vacuum booster to Hydroboost.

The booster appears to be the same TRW that ford has used for years.
The power stroke pump looks to be only slightly different from the CR pump dodge used, with the obvious divorced reservoir.
The master cylinder is a different part though.

Are there any parts or mods I will need to swap the Hydro onto my gasser truck?

I think its going to be just the proper plumbing to hook it all up. So your using the cummins pump? And using the powerstroke valving? Sounds like just a matter of custom lines being made. Will you need vacuum for anything else on the vehicle?

I plan to purchase a power stroke pump, lines and Hydro, and master cylinder. I'm really curious if the pedal-to-booster rod is compatible between the vacuum and Hydroboost units

I think I'm going to find a vacuum pump from a 650 or 750, I'm not sure if they were used on the tons or lower.

Have you thought about running a power steering/vacuum combination pump like the older Gen cummins? I think they will fit on the 6.7 too.

There is no provision on the CR gear case for the tandem pump.

Confirm that the push rod will connect with the factory brake pedal assy and that the stud pattern is the same. You may need to source a pedal assy from truck that was factory equipped with a hydraulic booster.

Can always fab a new push rod too. I would think you could measure the pedal bolt/stud pattern from under the dash without taking it all apart.

Well then, in my general experience the answer is-- buy a brake pedal assy from a hydroboost equipped truck. Every hydrobooster I have seen has a stud pattern that differs from the vacuum.

I do not think it is worth the time to rearrange the studs and fab a push rod.

Vacuum pump is not belt driven on a 6.7, it is driven by the hpfp gear.

Edit: Unless youre talking about a 6.7 cummins, of which i have no idea how its driven.

The thought was from a Ford 6.7. Incidentally, I sourced a cummins vacuum pump and bracket used to run the jacobs exhaust brake. I'm going to try it.
