I honestly believe that I did this when I put the oil rail back on the first time. I could not get the standpipe out and could only lift and rotate the oil rail enough to get the front injector out and replaced. However I did get the stand pipe out during the second go round and was able to seat it more better. But I will definitely heed your warning.
