Is anybody building these 6r140s yet that will hold up? Stock transmission is smoked at 10k miles. Stock truck ******d

midwest diesel and auto. many many trucks 600-750hp range running them daily with no issues. There are even a couple over 1k hp.

Midwest has built a lot of them and many are in trucks on this forum so can't go wrong with them. I'll add Suncoast; I have their 750hp kit in mine, came with billet TC and Billet FP. You can feel the lock up too, way more than stock. I rebuilt my transmission not exchange which I think turned out to be more $$$ so Midwest may be a better option from that perspective.

I Have the suncoast kit as well in my truck and love it. Randys Transmissions did mine.

Midwest trans in mine. Bout 1000hp at the crank if I had to guess

Another vote for Midwest. But for the trans to be smoked in 10k stock just tuned one of two things has happened. You have lackluster trans tuning or relearn procedures. And if that issue isn’t corrected no one can build a trans that will last.
