I just put a motor in a dmax that has 5 light bars and 2 led fogs. All the bars are mounted on a big ranch hand style winch bumper 2 on top rail, 3 on the bottom, with the fogs in the bumper. It's a little much... looks like the sun when all are fired up. I will try to get a pic.

I always liked kc lights.

Wanna go really old school throw a chrome roll bar in the bed and 4 kc's on top...LOL

1992 called and wants there halogen lights back.... Lol I think pilgrims had halogens on their horse and buggies! The problem with them is you would have to have about 1200 Hellas to put out the same light as a couple led lights bars.
But haters gonna hate..

I'm cool like that. I'm 37 so when I was coming up nothing cooler than a triple tube chrome roll bar in the bed of a 78 ford...but I'm over it. I like light bars if they are tucked in the bumper, just don't care for them on the hood or roof.
Same here!

And you don't *** with Chuck!

I don't understand when guys run those light bars during the day!! It's like what's the point. Also hate the roof mounted light bars.

OP I've always liked those lights like you put on!

I'm not a fan of the bro-visor across the windshield, but a light bar tucked into the bumper doesn't bother me too much. Personally, I do just fine with the lights Ford provided me....

I don't care for anything other than the bumper mounted leds as well. I have a 20 inch spot/flood combo bar in the bumper and if I'm on a dark road I'll light it up. Damn thing is bright too!! If someone lit that up on a road with me coming, I'd be royally pissed!! It's almost like a damn lineman checking power lines, even angled down, it still lights up the sky!!

I dig em.. I dont have one, but I will eventually get one. You make the run from Craig CO to Meeker CO at night once or twice you will wish you had one. Also running back and fourth to the rigs would be nice. One guy has one on his company truck and its like daylight all over..

I would wire it into my high beam switch I think. easy on and off vs the toggle switch " somewhere" on the dash..

I like them when done tastefully. However I will be the first to admits they are the biggest waste of money. I can't even turn them on because they are way too bright. If I have mine on and I turn in my driveway all the landscape lighting shuts off LOL!! I guess thats a good thing that they are very bright for the money they cost. Its more of a "style" or "trend" I think.

I have the 40" curved in the bumper like the picture above. Really like it. Fits the truck perfect. Extremely useful on a job site or in the woods. I use it ten times more then I ever expected. I like it because it's like everywhere. It's not just a bright beam of light bouncing around in the distance. If your adding them just for looks do whatever you like better. I was trying to "get the job done" while not taking a way from how nice the front end of the platinum looked to begin with.

I want driving lights that I can actually use on the road at night. The LED bars are useless if there's any other traffic on the road. We run front plates here so a bar in the bumper won't work anyway. A pair of pencil beam driving lights is something I can actually use...throw in a pair of floods and it would still work fine on the rare occasions I'd use them.

I mounted one on the inside of my truck so I can flip it on and avoid tint tickets.

Why not just do a hid projector retrofit on the stock fogs. It would look super clean and if you used a projector with a foreground limiter it should be very tolerable. They would also be pretty low so you could aim them to really reach out.
