Because first it was .25 of a point now its almost .75 of a point, that is a substantial difference......

Yeah I know I was wrong. I was a half a point off. That was taken off the top of my head. So after Tadd called me out on it I double checked and corrected my statement.

Still makes no difference at our altitude. Which is the main point I am trying to make. Lose .75 of a point of compression, gain valve clearance with a larger cam.

Like I said, for about the third time now, it's mine and others recommendation to the op. If its not what you recommend for your elevation then that's fine. The majority of us do not live on a mountain.

I was not trying to start a pissing match between us and elite. We sell a stage 1 that is a drop in. So is the billet stage 2 we sell. It will run fine without reliefs. But if the guy is doing pistons already, I Ike to advise precautionary things he can to do. But to say its going to run worse with valve reliefs is ridiculous and just a little far fetched for the size reliefs I'm talking about. Yeah .125" reliefs with de-lipped bowls at 15-1 cr will be way overkill for a street truck. But that's not what we are talking about.

my drag truck is low comp, if ambient temps are below 65 degrees it will not fire at sea level. and it doesn't run well until temps are up.
