Im new to the 6.0 word so be easy. I bought a truck with a powermax and 175/75 warrens and want to go bigger with the turbo. Im sticking with vgt so I'm curious can it be used as a core to make bigger our best to sell it and buy new from barder etc?

pretty much if the turbo is in good working order, vgt siloniod, unison, vanes and bearings are good then yeah the world is at the palm of your hand. as long as your truck can be down for the time needed to get your turbo to them, worked on, and back.

barder and kc are great options, lots of people with lots of happy reviews. and though i haven't read much on the vision diesel stuff they seem to have their stuff inline as well, and matt is a great guy to get you any answers you need. i personally went with a barder since i knew i wanted a new turbo and the stage 2 was where i wanted to be, james was awesome and even had it to me a day before he thought he would. now if i could get the rest of the truck figured out to see what the damn thing will do...

I'm getting mine done at barder as we speak. he does incredible work, tsd had one of his turbos up to 900hp and it ran fine. the turbo it self is rated for 600hp thats how good he is.

I have a billet wheel for a pax that I will be selling as soon as I get my turbo off and too barder. If that is what you may be looking at. It won't work if you go with a 68 though.

thats what im going to build my truck like. 225s and a thumper hpop from rivercity . i dont mike has a thumper so we will see what it can do. i also have a fuel system and the other stuff and a bts trans. i also have a mishimoto on the way. i wanted to do the valve springs and push rods while it was down but it would cost to much in labor

james is building mine as we speak. it should be back at tsd soon. but yea i taled to him on the phone hes very nice. and hes rebuilding my powermax to a 68mm. he was telling me how good of luck he has on his turbos he builds. no complaints knock on wood. im really excited to get it back and run it. he even took a old 6.0 turbo i had and the powermax and took the core charge from the 6.0 turbo and put the cost toward the bill to make it cheaper.
