I will have all mods to support these items. Full fuel system, built trans, etc. just curios if this setup will work. I tow other f250s. Maybe 10-12k of wieght
I have a set of ced t4 divided up pipes im thinking about selling if your interested.
Shoot me a pm
not really. a salesman will tell you yes.
you wanna keep the turbine small so you can keep it lit in od. also depends what states ypu wanna tow through, who builds your 190s, who tunes it, and what you consider actually being able to tow something. Im sticking with no just because I wouldn't setup someone to successfully tow with it. I tow my trailer with 205s, but I would have never attempted it with the 64/71 with diverter I was running before I built the last set of compounds. I hated a 364 but I ran the 71mm turbine which the 68mm came out to replace the 71. everyone is intitled to there own opinion, I tow in cali where its 55mph. try that with that setup and 12k+ behind it. whats wrong with an fmw 62. call cutting edge. he runs one on his personal truck and sends me vids of towing so I know it works. plus flow rate is superior to a cast 64. you have less rotational mass and more flow.
hmmmm, I think ill try it on my car. they gonna do it in an efr?
I agree and disagree with you. Any 6.0 no matter what turbo has issues towing in overdrive at any speed under 70mph. I can tow all day with my truck with 225/100 and a 66/73/91 with t4 pipes and a tow tune that locks out overdrive until 70 in tow/haul. 55mph is a breeze in the park locked in direct gear at 50-55mph in my truck. The new FMW 64 is going to be sweet, we have a kit on the way down to texas with one for a 6.4 with a 73 turbine...
haha guess you haven't driven mine and yes she still lays numbers down. I can tow with my race truck all day long but it wouldn't be something I would recommend to anyone. manual vb gives me full control. of course the smoke would be stupid. kinda like towing with 225s and a 66 hahaha.
