well they do ride better than the earlier ones, but not much better.

being that i bought them new from ford and bought the conversion hangers from PMF, the improvement was not worth the money spent. now if someone were to get a set free/cheap and just move the stock hangers(wich i found out works after the fact) i would say go for it

progress....

got the doors primed and blocked, a few nights ago, to smooth out that wonderful factory door wave

saturday morning got the final prep done and rolled it in the booth

all tapped up

made a last minute change in paint, we (well my two buddies that painted it) decided it would look awesome as a 3stage job, with a pearl coat over the chosen color(bright amber metallic). So i went with an orange pearl)

your friends made a KILLER CHOICE BUD!!!! are you doing an 05+ conversion or leaving the 99-04 front end? that would look absolutely stunning as an 06 clone with the color you guys chose! it's beautiful!

Like they said the color looks great. Awesome choice. It's nice to See someone take there time to do a proper paint/masking job also. nothing irritates me more than a lazy prepped who can't mask for ****

i still have to get all the seats in, dye my over head console, and clean it up..but after 2 days of driving it im happy. the noise reduction is amazing! the doors close with a dull thud instead of the usual shaking echo

That color, and paint work look amazing. I'd try to find a chrome wheel to put on it, to help tie it all together....if you had the coin, I think a chrome novikane (as much as I hate to say a bmf wheel, cause everybody runs them) would look sick on there. That color begs for moderate chrome usage, to really compliment the "pop" factor.

see i think it needs a black/machine style wheel.....either way it'll get new wheels, 20's wrapped in 37's, when i do the 05+ axles in the spring
