CCV Hose Dia

Borderline stupid question, but...

I'm sick of the vapor and cloud from my dumped CCV hose, so I'm adding a catch can. Is 5/8" dia large enough, or is 3/4" recommended?

I have read guys using both, but figured I should ask.

5/8ths should be sufficient, but going with 3/4" won't hurt.

I run 3/4". No specific reason why, that's just what I put on it.

The CCV nipple on the doghouse is 3/4". I would stick with 3/4" so you do not restrict any flow.
