Ccv reroute setup

Riffraff Diesel sells a delete plug that fits into the grommet with not washers or jb weld. Thats what I used.

The whole washer idea sounds like a good thing to get sucked in the charger Lol

But since some are using it successfully I guess it'll work. Just leaves me with an uneasy feeling

Atmosphere.
Ran to the rear door. Works fine.
PVC Plug painted black for the intake.
PVC 90 painted black coming off the oil fill.

Just to play the other side...because it is a question that has always been in the back of my mind...

Does anyone see any long term issues cause by the lack of vacuum in the CCV system?

Why would it cause issues? As long as it can breath freely i dont think it would matter every single older diesel ive ever seen has just ran the ccv vented to the atmosphere.

I used a 3/4 inch PVC plug and epoxied it in the hole (took a little trimming for it to fit) then I took a heater hose off an old chebby and hooked it to the stock elbow and ran it down to the drivers side fender well, dumps right above the U-bolts on the front axle
