Cel after 6637 installation

My buddy (who is a mechanic) installed my 6637 and now the cel came on with this code, I was wondering what I should do or have done or if it was installed correctly

Check your stock air box for a temp sensor held in by a rubber grommet, and a loose plug with 2 wires near the filter. It needs to be plugged in.

If it's just unplugged, your "mechanic" should have caught that right off. Lol

Can't speak for him but I'm assuming when he read the directions for installation that he mixed up the stock air filter gauge with the sensor? Like I said though it's just an assumption

The sensor doesn't care if it's in the filter box or not. Just needs to be plugged in.

Yeah mines just hanging out under the filter. It's not really mounted at all.
