I just picked mine up fromy buddies house, got'em all checked out and there legit amp steps and for a crew cab super duty to boot. I'll see about putting them on this weekend.

And if not he said he can make you a good deal on the Bestops. I'm not convinced they're not the same. Hopefully Seabee will post some close ups of everything so maybe we can put that question to rest. My amp box says Bestop on it.

Ha, yeah I guess I have to quit doing that now (or will I?)........
Mine says the same, says AMP all over it but then there is the Bestop logo on it to so I dunno, dont really care either as long as they work lol. I'll be sure to take some pics as I go.

I got the option of them or AMPs, he said he could order the crew cab amp boards without the motors or anything just the boards and the take the brakets and motors and everything else out of a ex cab kit and send it to or do the bestops for the same price. I told him that was fine but then thought afterwards that I didnt want him to have to go through the hassle of that and that I was sure the bestops would be fine but looks like he sent me a reg amp crew cab set any way so all is good.

What does it say when you pull up the tracking? Date and status? I'd call him for sure.

Ahh , they're supposed to be here today I guess... I talked to Jason and he said they were in a mismarked box, didn't get shipped out ... I dunno doesn't make sense if I was the second order he got .

Put em on tonight if you get the chance. These things make me happy every time I get in the truck. Even after getting them the first time, taking my nfabs off only to realize the AMPs were for a chevy, and then getting into that damn thing with no steps, then sending the chevy ones back and waiting another week for the AMPs, then having hell getting them on because of the jacked up mounting holes.
I'd do it all over again even if I knew it was gonna take that long and be that much of a pain.

Hell man by the time I get off and get home, have dinner and visit with the family I wouldnt have time. I've waited 4 years I can wait another few days lol.

Lol your new boss working you too hard?? I was more meaning power2stroke, he's mad now, that would definitely relieve it seeing those steps fall when he opens the door.
For you though, you're gonna be amazed at how much easier it is to get in even than with the steps you've got on it now. It's just natural feeling getting in and not awkward at all. And why not just have the wife make you dinner and everyone else can eat with you in the garage while you're installing? Isn't that how marriage works??

Ha my wife wouldnt be caught in the garage eating dinner, plus its like 150* with 500% humidity right now. She could probably cook dinner on my driveway.
Nah Nates not over working me it just gets swamped here some times with orders and tech calls as well as trying to keep tabs on all the forums.
My buddy has them on his truck and I'm always bugging him about selling them to me so he's relieved lol.

Well I did send the guy a message last night. I asked if he had any for an '08 chevy cc he said he did not but he did have some for an ex. cab which are only 3'' shorter or he said that I could end up getting the bestops for like $25 bucks more by the time I got the mail in rebate. I think I will call him tomorrow if I get a chance during the day, but what do you guys think, I mean it seems as the only difference between the amp and bestops could be an amp sticker by the way everyone is talking.

Well no steps today , maybe tomorrow ... but I did stop at swamps diesel on the way home and there was an 08 KR in there with AMP steps on it lol ... at least I got to see a set haha .
