I've always used Ford heads for 6.4 builds. Has anybody used the aftermarket chinese castings? are they decent? junk?

I don't particularly care for hecho en cheena, but I've used chinese heads in the past with success.

Just looking for insight on these. I've never seen a pair

Never knew such a thing existed. Do you have a link to them or a website?

If you get heads from anybody but Ford and they don't specifically state that they're Ford heads, they're probably Chinese

I'd assume they would be the same as 6.0 Chinese junk.. NO THANKS. They have bite me twice at the shop and once on the side. Of course, they were always at customer request and against our/my wishes. What I've come to find out is quite a few shops that sell their name on the heads, are that of Chinese castings and are junk.

they come off cracked every now and then

I'm wanting to port a pair, and porting a pair of virgin heads is WAY easier than porting a seasoned pair of OEM heads

it's just not really feasible for most niche aftermarket companies to have iron cast in the americas... even Hammilton's Cummins heads are cast in china :(
