Cleaning an intercooler

Not really sure where to put this thread so I stuck it here. I bought a used intercooler and I just want to make sure it is clean before installing it on my truck. Is there a good way to go about this or should I just spray air though it for a few minutes and hope for the best? Thanks.

I usally flush them with the garden hose and some simple green.
