Wow, yall have to deal with some major bs up there!!!! All they want to see here is a muffler and exhaust exit behind the cab with no leaks. Most shops won't even look underneath truck or hood.

Wow the new laws sound like they suck, i had my truck emissions tested last march and it passed with flying colors with no cat and SRL+ installed lol. they also put it down as a 7.3 not a 6.0 so maybe it didnt even need a cat. luckily i have the factory cat in the basement...just dont really want to cut my exhaust and reinstall it

I guess it would be handy to weld header collector types of flanges for easy swaping of a delete pipe or cat?

Just happy that's not me...

The biggest new thing is pipe size. They claim it skews the results. You could always just get a bunch of reducers to get it down to 3" and put it on the tip.

The tip size is a bunch of bs since our trucks came stock with atleast a 3.5 inch exhaust. Plus when I went to school for diesel we had an opacity meter to use and you entered the pipe size up to 8 inch.
