Converter or flexplate?

so where is the best place to buy a good flex plate, dealer? i noticed recently that my truck is also making this kind of noise.....a kind of "exhaust leak" kind of sound with a slight rattle at idle in park or neutral, raise the idle a couple hundred rpm or put in R, D, 2,1 and the noise goes away.......

Well i should know what my noise is here shortly, just trying to work up the motivation to yank the damn thing out. LOL So far i've got the converter bolts out. Converter spins fine, and isn't making any noise when i spin it, except for a grinding noise But i'm assuming that's from the snout of the converter rubbing inside of the crank, err at least thats how it sounds.

so does the noise from the flexplate come from it rubbing on something? and why does it only make this noise when in P or N?
