Coolant leak

I have a H&S mini max hd 300 tune and dpf delete. I just just a down pipe egr delete with high flow elbow and a cac pipe. I took it for a test run and my coolant took a dump on me and is everywhere. I called the shop that put it in and ask why it is. He said there is to much pressure in my coolant and it could be my cap. Just wondering if anyone has the say problem or heard of it!

You can try a new cap, and lower your tune a lil bit. But unfortunately it's prob your HG. A buddy of mine blew a gasket at 30k miles

Well the easier way is to pull the cab. The last time I pulled my buddies it pretty much took me and him a Saturday and a case of beer to do it. Took our time of course

After my EGR delete my truck puked once a very small amount....then a month later it started too more and more. head gasket was blown

Haha I don't want to stir a chit storm with this but I have used ARP. I have 5 retorques on mine and they are doing fine.

Your headgaskets are most likely blown with the HD300 if you were driving it hard. Time for some ARP's and stock Ford gaskets.

I agree it is probably HGs, but sincce you just removed the EGR, it is possible air is in the line or the degas was filled too high...seems like these trucks are picky about the coolant level. Personally, I would pressure the coolant by making a home made tester. Get 12' of 3/8" hose. Connect it to the top port of the degas, run the hose into the cab, and get a cheap gauge to hook to the end of the hose. Watch the pressure as you drive. Floor it while watching the gauge...if you see anywhere around 16 PSI, there's a 99% chance it is the HGs.

B585 wasn't there a bulletin from ford pertaining to the coolant level in the in the degas to be and inch below the max line?

I believe that is correct. When I had puking problems (which turned out to be HGs), I went through all of them and from what I remember, that is right. I still have the list of TSBs, but I can't remember which one actually discussed cooling levels.

Hopefully, it turns out not to be a HG, but even if it does...this might be the best thing that could have happened...just apply the "since I am in there, I might as well add..."LOL If I hadn't blown my HGs, I would probably still be stock on the atmo turbo, intake manny, exh manny and up pipes. Now I can just break my HPFP and injectors, I should be in business!!!!LOL
