cost to check a set of heads?

how much does it cost to check, deck and clean a set of heads to get them ready to bolt on? getting ready to do studs soon after i get back to the states.

they are about 90 a set to check and clean... milling is usually another 45 or 50 bucks where I get them done.

thats not bad...ours cost much more...the pressure check them, check for cracks mill/deck them, and check all the springs and valves, runs us about 450 for a set of heads to get done

Holy cow 450? Maybe my guy is just on the low side but a set of heads magnafluxed and milled is $95 and that is for the set.

if I am reselling heads, I dont have them milled, due to different builders and how they want them to be set up.... but its that much if they are perfect or cracked.... so they get paid either way

I paid like $450 for mine too, cleaned, decked, pressure checked, magnafluxed, valve job and all new valve seals.
