Derek,

Have you seen Daves new conversion kit for the front of his excursion w/ the 3 link? I dont wanna say too many details until we are ready to post it.. but maybe you should ask him about doing one of those for this truck.

The damn guy mentioned it to me on the phone.... he always has to start drama and put ideas in peoples head.

He asked if we wanted to pick it up...tempting.

Is the lower overload spring riveted into the spring pack?

They have a bolt going through them right?

Well..... Looks as though Dave and the guys at OUO have talked us into it.

Will post pictures along the way so others can see the coilover kit as it gets installed.

Basically takes the stock 99-03 axle and coverts it to a 3 linked (OUO ALA setup) coil sprung adjustable height front end.

My cheap ass doesn't even want to know what that cost. Sounds like a cool setup though keep us updated!

I love spending time @ OUO every year. The cool stuff coming down the pipeline is always so exciting. I've wanted to share this project since the day I saw it. I can't wait until these are ready for normal sales. They completely redefine options for these trucks. Congrats Derek, you are going to friggin love this conversion!!!

Swinky, a quick question for you, I currently have the 4" block on my back axle and want to take it off. Where did you get the new u bolts when you did yours? Thank you for any information.

Ballpark price is around 3k I'm guessing?

Once coilovers enter the conversation things get expensive fast, but it will be worth every penny we think.

The results will be the true story teller.

What trans are you planning on running?
We have a full billet competition 4r100 from John Woods that is set up for the stock 5r110 transfer case and being powered but a stand alone that John is going to tune for us.
So this is stock height and up I'm guessing
Clearly you are not lifting a race truck
I'm interested

I do not know for sure but I believe its adjustable from -2 to +2 lift, or close to that.
