I'm assuming that the Allen head plug on the bottom is for some reason you need to drain the tank?

Can't say I've seen others that have that option, but really haven't looked either.

Does the tack need to be dropped to put one in ?
Also what is the diameter of the sump.
I want to put one in but I have a cab & chassis with the 40gal aft axle tank.
The tank can not be dropped.

Tank does not need to be dropped...its a 2.5" hole....drill a pilot hole to drain the fuel and make sure you have a bucket to catch it....:toast:

How far does it hang down from the tank? I am debating on going this route when I do my fuel system. I am just worried I sit to low as it is.

Paul-

Any pics of them installed?

Also I didn't see it asked, how does it seal to the tank? O-ring or rtv?

Going to be installing a plastic SD tank into my OBS soon and going to get one of these from you.

It did, thanks! Have you had any experience with having one mounted and flipping the studs upside down so they go up and not hang down? Any interferance with the float or anything? Doubt it gets close enough but without going out to my spare tank, I'm not sure.

Also, couldn't tell from the pics how it seals to the tank. RTV or an oring of some sort?

Def getting one of these in the near future!
