Cracked nozzle after oil change...related or bad luck?

Good news that it's still sealed. Unless that debris actually dug into something and stayed in the hole, I'd swap the injector and well.... send it and feel good about it.

Got a reman injector put in it... starts, runs, drives like nothing happened. Took a bit to get the exhaust cleared out, but for now- all seems good. Fingers crossed she holds

Chances are it's not going anywhere. If anything it'll create a hot spot, the debris will break loose, but then will just get slammed back into the Piston.

yeah.... made it two weeks and **** another injector. its getting a set of warren premiums and a new fuel pump now.

So it’s been a couple months on the warren premiums, new pump, new blue spring... he drives the truck 80-90 miles a day like nothing happened... talk about lucky. (For now)
