Yeah I haven't looked much into having insurance pay for it yet. I've never made a claim so I gotta figure out how to do it. Not sure they'll do much being it was 2 months ago when it happened

Pretty simple just call the police and tell them what happened and they will file a report then just forward said police report to your insurance company and start a claim. They my even pay you for the other parts you bought.

Doesn't really matter how long ago it originally was. You just discovered it now so that's what you have to go on.
