That chrome grille would look good if you painted the chrome part of the bumper to match the rockers.

I agree!

Heres one of my pet peeves or maybe Im not seeing it clearly which, lets face it, could be, but why in the instance his fender flares were silver wouldnt the whole bumper be silver? The pad and the lower, actual bumper?

I want to go two tone on my truck and throw an 07 frontend on (i already run silver 07 heads) but I want to do silver rockers, silver "oem style" flares, and the whole front bumper silver. Why do people usually paint the pad the dominant color? Then you have accent colored flare, opposing colored pad, and then back to accent color.

It would really throw people off if you left those headlights but put the new grille on with the new bumper.

Like this ? Lol

That truck looks so good! I think the front end looks badass as it is. I just wondered how white would change the look.

my hitch made ZERO difference in temps of any kind... but its also very rare to get above 95* up here...im also only at 1200-1800 ft...

I had ine of those stainless "billet" grille insert kits on my 00 waaay back in the day and it would block enough airflow that the truck would get hot in 95+ deg temps and towing at lowspeed. It was obvious quick! I put it on in the winter and noticed quicker heat and warmer coolant and oil temps and it just didnt dawn on me what would happen in the summer.

They look really nice but I cant appreciate the temperature issues.

i hear that alot ... your blocking 50% of the grill with them inserts..im only blocking about 3 inches off the bottom..mainly its my power steering cooler and part of the trans cooler..i don't watch PS temps but tranny never went over 180 (struggled to get there most of the time)and my pyro struggled to hit 1400 with 180/100 and a GTP38R with an aluminum IC....

Redrice was having some higher temps towing with his new ranch hand front bumper. Wouldn't think that would do it either.
