I had to fix a pin right out of the package ..they need to clean up their injection molding flash (term) the pin wasn't located properly due to that. so check before you plug em in

I didn't get a chance to try em yet other than to see them light up

I'm sorry to hear about the flashing there causing you trouble! We haven't noticed anything like that before on them. Thank you for letting us know though, so we can address it if its any sort of issue in the future.

they were awesome in my ford, and i swapped them over to the cheby, no complaints plugged right in and are super bright

I want some for my '08 cheby, which ones do I need, I have the recon taillights if that makes any difference? Will be nice to actually see when backing up in the dark.

Ill have to pull one out this afternoon. It has some sort of led reverse lights now but they are all burnin out on me so arent very bright at all.

A guy from work has a older half ton silverado and his was the 3156 bulb, may be different on the newer trucks

they dont seem to last long. ive had mine in for roughly a month,and one already blew out.

corey according the my napa system it uses a 3047ll?? they look like a 3157 style base

Ah ok, thanks Kyle. Ill go pull one out here soon an see what it looks like if I can make myself go outside lol the wind is blowing about 80 mph right now!!

Yours should take a 921/T15 size/type bulb there if I'm not mistaken.
To check the current bulbs physically, you don't even have to pull it out. If it has two filaments and a plastic base towards the bottom, its 3156 needed. If it has one filament and only a full glass envelope then its a 921/T15

Yeah, we're going to have to politely disagree here too. Since we've offered these bulbs we have had only 6 pieces come back/replaced for not working. When all is taken into account, the product failure rate to date is way below 0.1% effectively.

That is definitely a 3156 bulb... but can you see with that one? The type of LED package in such small numbers there can not be well suited to performance.

No I cannot see at all with them, half of the lil leds on the light are burnt out. Also my rear windows and back glass are 2% so doesnt help much, but thats why I want these bright led reverse lights.

The CREE reverse bulbs, the radial version, will offer you much better performance!
