Ct Inspection/ emmisions on a 03 6.0

My parents live in Ct and are looking at a 03 6.0 that a customer of my shop has. Its an 03 F350 6.0 Cenntenial edition. Truck has 28k miles and lives in a heated garage with a very picky owner. The turbo frooze up so he replaced it and deleted the egr cooler at the same time. This truck is perfect.

Anyways it will need to be inspected in Ct. It has an egr delete and i hollowed out cat. Are these going to be issues in Ct?

I would give it a shot. Most inspectors will see the cat and call it good. They don't know or care if it is hollow.

It's a visual inspection and then they plug it in. As long as they see the cat and you have no check engine lights then you are good

Thanks guys. got the truck the other day. First time i got in the the engine light was on with a p0401 code for egr. I am going to clear it the day it goes in for emmisons and hope for the best. Either that or i could unmarry my x4 from my 07 and turn off the egr with it. Atleast until Dad gets a livewire for the 03
